"Eerste indruk van het apartement is goed, het is ruim en licht. Er is een vaatwassertje en een wasmachine, genoeg ruimte voor kleding en een grote koelkast. Het was makkelijk te vinden en de instructies wat betreft parkeren waren fijn. Echter wat hygiëne betreft is het onder de maat. Alles voelt een beetje groezelig aan. "I would definitely stay here again. The views are amazing, the property is quiet, the pool and sauna were great. For a family of four, we had the Deluxe Apartment and it was plenty of space. The rooms were large, the bathtubs overlooking the woods were amazing. There are a couple restaurants not too far away, but we ended up going to the grocery store and cooking at home because we wanted to spend most of our time in the room. "

"We were really disappointed with our stay. The place was not clean at all — we found hair everywhere, which was very off-putting. The bathroom was dirty and had black bits on the floor, making it feel unhygienic. The freezer was also very dirty, with bits of hair inside it — absolutely unacceptable. "We had a fantastic week in Martin and Petra’s lovely cottage. Lots of great walking (if hilly!) and cycling opportunities. We visited Freiburg, Titisee, Donaueschingen and a few wineries. Enjoyed the visits from the chickens and cats and watching the swallows swoop past. Very restful and highly recommended."

Major pluses: The kids had their own bedroom with proper beds (separate single beds and not sofa / pullout style); **TWO** toilets! Clothing storage in both bedrooms including hanging space; Free self-serve coffee in the reception area; Plush carpet and very large couch; Very convenient to Europa Park."

It’s a less than 10 min walk to little Venice and other landmarks are close by after wondering through the beautiful village of Colmar. I also wanted to send a “thank you” to the front desk and “Paul” especially he went above and beyond for us last night to help dry our clothes that didn’t quite air dry in our room. I was blown away by his kindness. He came up to our room took our clean damp clothes in a bag had them dried, even folded them and brought them back up to our room a hour later. What a wonderful employee Paul @ the Grand Hotel Bristol in Colmar is!! Thank you and we hope to come via again sometime in the future. "
