The Broken Windmilll Inn Ontario Farm Retreat

  • Broken Windmill Inn is the perfect countryside getaway! Nestled among beautiful rolling farmland, this home can comfortably accommodate over 15 of your family and friends. The main level includes 3 bedrooms decorated with attention to detail that will ensure a feeling of home-away-from-home. The downstairs boasts a second full kitchen, full bath, bar seating off kitchen, foosball table, and games for the kiddos or the kiddo in you!

    Broken Windmill Inn also has not one but TWO living areas! Each level is furnished with new uber comfortable electric-powered reclining sectionals with built-in cupholder consoles! Both kitchens have pots and pans, dishes, glassware, kitchen utensils, kid-friendly dinnerware, and refrigerators with filtered water and ice functions. All you need to bring is ingredients for your favorite meals - we have the rest covered!

    Enjoy beautiful morning views from the front deck and stargaze by the fire pit at night. The fire pit area includes a custom built cooler for your beverages. A gas grill and additional outdoor seating is available to you as well!

    Whether you’re riding the horse trails at Wildcat Mountain State Park or traveling the backroads on ATVs, we have plenty of space to accommodate your parking needs! The homestead rests on over 3 acres and includes a loafing shed, two large machine sheds, and concrete for parking trailers, ATVs, campers, etc. Ideal location for nature enthusiasts and adventurers alike! This is an amazing property and we will be rebooking with Kyle again. We had 15 people and did not feel crowded at all. House layout gives everyone their own space. Very well stocked and owners were very responsive with any questions that came about.

Wonderful vacation spot in Kendall Wisconsin

Communication and flexibility with the owner was a huge bonus. Part of my family had to arrive earlier than anticipated. Kyle when above to accommodate my family in a difficult travel situation. The property was very clean and well maintained. The two kitchens was a bonus as we did a lot of cooking all weekend for a large gathering. The yard was a perfect spot for yard games. We will be back again.

Great experience renting this home. We were there for a wedding at Hillsboro Brewing Co so it was a little drive from there. Make sure to have a DD if you're in Hillsboro for a wedding. Thanks for your quick responses to my questions!

Beautiful Property!

The pictures truly don't capture how amazing this home is. This was seriously one of the quietest areas I've ever been to, and everything was just beautiful. The house was absolutely perfect for me and 6 friends to celebrate a bachelorette party. Everything was clean, well-stocked, and by far exceeded all of our expectations. Communication with Kyle was 10/10 and we are already discussing making this an annual girl's weekend getaway location for years to come!

The house was very clean, with an open bright kitchen. All of the bedrooms were large and comfortable beds. The house was very well stocked with linens and towels. The kitchen had all the dishes for adults and kids needed. There were plenty of pots and pans. We hosted a large dinner and had plenty of eating space. We would definitely stay at this property in the future. The host was quick to respond to all of my questions.

Quick Get Away
