"The 3BR Villa was nice and spacious but had maintenance issues. The flooring was uneven and creaky, and when we checked in late afternoon/early evening the air conditioning in the master bedroom and main living room were not functional. After maintenance worked on it for an hour the bedroom AC was working but not at full capacity, and the living room AC couldn't be fixed. The bedroom temperature wasn't comfortable until after 11PM. This caused a fair bit of inconvenience and discomfort, we had young children who had trouble sleeping due to the heat. The living room AC wasn't able to be fixed during our stay. Management was responsive, apologetic, and helpful but at the end of the day wasn't able to offer us an agreeable solution to compensate for not providing a villa in full working condition. They offered to change to an equivalent villa after 2 nights, we declined as it meant packing and unpacking for 9 people. After a lot of back and forth the best they could do for us was various resort credits and services with a total face value of about $150CAD. This was a pretty small amount compared to the rate of the villa. Other than that the property was quite pleasant."
"We stayed at the resort for 3 nights. It is a beautiful resort, very peaceful. The restaurant is famous for watching sunset. Food in their restaurants are very good. The customer service Lucy is very friendly and helpful. We truly enjoy the stay there. However please be aware that the resort is at the north side of the island and you need Grab to go to the city centre and other tourist areas. Last the hotel provides airport return shuttle which is helpful. "

"More like a 4 than a 5 star hotel.
Staff were professional. They seemed to take safety seriously with lifeguards in the pool and beach.
Located on a nice part of the beach. There weren't enough sun loungers, but they probably cant add more due to limited space. Most sun loungers were "reserved" by guests with towels before 8am and sometimes the reservers wont be seen anywhere near the lounger for hours.
Breakfast had a good variety and no long queues for most items, but the hygiene standards weren't great - food was fresh, just that the way food was displayed and accessed wasn't the best. For example, they have this huge tub of ice that keeps getting refilled, but u can see the melted ice at the bottom of the bucket had probably been there for a couple of hours and contained debris. An ice machine would have been better. The fruits were also just left in the open and probably should have been covered/ in refrigerated section and split into individual portions (pretty sure I got a tummy bug from here).
Some amenities were dated/broken -e.g. ping ping rackets and table football. For a hotel this size, I think there should be more sport/fun ammenities, e.g. there was only one ping pong table, always with a long queue.
Good location - nearby restaurants/ mini-marts, quick taxi ride to sunset town.
The rooms were also a good size and well maintained.
For quality, the price seemed fair, and if the hotel can address the above issues, it'd be a really great stay.

"The room was large and the view and private pool was very good. The bed wasn't very comfortable and the linens and towels were very basic. The food at breakfast and dinner was OK and reasonably priced. There were insufficient loungers by the sandy beach, others were available but it was rocky and you couldn't easily swim in the sea. Whilst there were plenty of restaurants, supermarkets and spas in the nearby village, it was a challenge to get any grab drivers to come to the hotel and you could easily wait 30mins and usually this was only because someone had been dropped off. The walk to the village was about 1.2km, but it is a little up and down and when the temperature is about 37c it isn't great. The resort has a number of golf carts which they could have used to have a regular shuttle service for guests or even charge for the service, but they restrict your use of these vehicles to your day of arrival & departure only and within the hotel area. If I return to Phu Quoc I will choose a more convenient location."
"Front desk staff were exhausted at times due to some of the counterproductive hotel policies which means everyone has to check in twice as they are not allowed to check anyone in before 3pm. They were apologetic and polite but many other customers seemed frustrated and it also meant There was always a constant queue and they didn’t seem to have many breaks as it was always the same front desk staff during our stay.
Pros: they offer a 10% discount on your vin tickets.
The bar staff are wonderful, friendly and make a great cocktail! We really recommend and enjoyed our conversations. (The food wasn’t great. Night caps only!)
Cons: I suggest you use your check in day to arrive early and buy your vinwonders or safari ticket on day of arrival as on day of departure (even if it’s early in the morning) they won’t provide you with the 10% discount they offer which we had purchased before. We didn’t want to do the two parks in the same day (the safari isn’t feasible for most people unless you buy fast passes) and it closes at 4pm. They really have to be done on two separate days.
The breakfast buffet was very hectic and unenjoyable. A lot of people pushing to get food an tea (there is usually a second buffet in the back of the area) and suggest you go for that one unless it’s close to the end of the buffet time. They are missing hot tea refills and milk so that is difficult if you need your morning caffeine.
I wouldn’t book more than two days at this resort.

"There are two things we particularly like about this resort. First, there are two swimming pools, which give guests good options for relaxing. We especially enjoyed the villa section, with its small tree-lined paths where we took a walk every day.
The breakfast offers a good variety, and the seating area provides plenty of comfortable options. We dined at the seafood restaurant three times and really enjoyed it. The staff are very friendly and helpful throughout the resort.
If we come back next time, we will probably book a bigger room. One thing that could be improved is the Wi-Fi, as it was quite slow in our room and in the dining area."
