Premier Lakeshore Retreat

This spacious and serene space, lakeside, private lake house with private sandy beach. In addition to 10,000 acres of boating, fishing and swimming you'd be a stones throw away from the Black Mountain Recreation area where you will find miles of trails for ORV's, hiking, biking, skiing, fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. This truly is northern Michigan vacation paradise. Plenty of room for you, family, friends and pets.

This five bedroom, four bathroom luxury home sets on 100 foot of private Sandy Beach. It’s fully stocked with everything you need for a great vacation summer,fall, winter or spring. Cross country skiing, fishing in the summer, winter, Black mountain trail riding with your off-road vehicles throughout the spring summer fall are all a short distance away. Bring your snowmobile‘s for great trail riding in the winter. Boat launch Access is close by to launch your boat or jet skis and they can easily anchored out in front during your stay by the private dock. Pontoon boat lift included for use if you bring or rent.

Wireless fiber Internet throughout the entire home, each bedroom and main rooms include smart TVs with apps to watch your favorite shows. There are several private spaces to spread out and enjoy your own time throughout this home. The front yard includes an outdoor fire pit and the deck includes a gas fire pit for your enjoyment. Enjoy the sandy beach with your own private dock and steps right down in the water.

***Washer and dryer, Fully stocked kitchen, Bunn coffee pot, Keurig Coffee Maker, Water toys, gas grill, Two ROC paddle boards, 3 adult bikes and other assorted items are included for your use while renting the home. The home is also stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products/laundry soap, dishwasher pods/soap, propane and firewood for guest use free of charge. *****

Great Spot

Although it was winter the location on the lake was great for us, great for ice fishing. Drive through garage and onto the lake no sea wall to deal with. Great place to stay

Fishing trip gone well!

I think Nick thought of everything when preparing a home for guests. He's included all from docking to parking, a very well equipped kitchen, to comfortable bedding, plenty of seating for gathering indoors and out, firepits and covered patios. Our fishing group really enjoyed the stay.

Trip to black lake

Our experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we are so grateful for the opportunity to have stayed in such a fantastic location. The beauty of the surroundings was great, and being so close to Ocqueoc Falls added an extra layer of magic to our vacation. We will certainly cherish the time we spent at your property and hope to return in the future.

Great place!!

Don’t hesitate to book…house is great with plenty of room for a big family. Kitchen has everything you need. Lake is great/water very warm. Back patio is so comfy for hanging out. Lastly, Nick is great at communicating and making sure all of your needs are taken care of. 👍😊

Great place to gather with toys

Great place with lots of room, with all the necessary supplies for 12 people. Plenty of TP, garbage bags, towels, and even snacks. We used the paddle boards and and paddle boat and even fished and caught a few perch. We enjoyed each room had their own AC unit to customize the sleeping temps. Host was very responsive and one neighbor was very friendly. To top it off, dog friendly!!! The sun sets were amazing too

Amazing house and amenities!!

My family stayed at this house Aug 2024 for an entire week. So much room and though a little windy for our liking this week, there was still a lot we could do without having to go anywhere. The beach was great for small children and adults alike. Nice shallow swimming area and lake is amazing. House was well stocked, and the giant bowl of snacks, though unnecessary, got used by everyone and added a very nice touch to our stay. Beds were very comfortable and everyone expressed how well they slept. We used a lot of wood during the week to stay warm on the very chilly evenings, but Nick had no issue bringing more over to us. Overall, a great week and definitely would be our first choice to stay there again if we come back to this area.

Paradise vacation

The host answered every question within 20 minutes. His house was fully furnished & equipped with more than I thought which made it so much easier for us. The amount of snacks that were provided by the host added inches to my waistline. Lol. The view & beach area were spectacular. We would definitely want to go there again. Next time it will be in the summer, so we can take advantage of going in the lake. Thanks Nick!

If you had 10 stars for this stay , we would rate it an 11!

We have been renting through VRBO for a long time. Never once have I walked into a cleaner, more accommodating location than this cabin. The owner leaves you with everything you could possibly need or want. If it's not there just drop him a quick line and it's taken care of immediately. Basically all you need to do is pack your clothes. We really appreciated the welcome baskets as well as all the toys you left for the kids to play with on your beach. This was a wonderful, relaxing vacation for our family which was very much needed. The beach is perfect for little kids as the water is very shallow, and the sunset every night was spectacular. Thank you very much for sharing your cabin with us!

We have stayed in many VRBO lake homes. This is the most fabulous home. We never had one we felt like returning to, but this one is that place. Very well decorated, well appointed home. Beds were wonderful, plenty of extra bedding, pillows, kitchen lacked nothing, bathrooms were well stocked. We loved the guest baskets in bathrooms, the kitchen snack basket was great. Best swimming lake ever, shallow, clear, you will need water shoes, Michigan lakes are rocky. Wood for the fire, indoor toys and games, a tv for everyone, loved that it had three full baths and a half bath! All in all we loved it. The only things we felt it needed: A boat of some kind, like kayaks or small row boat to get into the deep water for fishing, a book letting us know how to operate the porch awning and attic fan along with check out instructions (so we dont have to bother the host) and kleenex...a request of our 6-year old! :) Be sure to eat at the 211 Bar and Grill, it is fantastic! We had a wonderful time!

Beautiful home with a perfect location on the lake. Fully stocked house. They have thought of everything. Plenty of linens, kitchen ware, and beach toys. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and the owners.

House was huge. Plenty of room for all our friends and family. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms as well as kayaks, bikes, paddle boards etc. property mgr was easy to reach and helpful. Very clean. Quiet street and neighborhood. Lake was beautiful with deck and fireplace off the back of the house. We would definitely stay here again.

Summer Stay

My family and I spent about 5 days at the property. There was so much for us to do! My boys had the most fun playing on the beach. The host provided everything that you could need for a relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable and everything was very well taken care of! I highly recommend this property! We had a great time and were sad to leave.

Ice fishing weekend

This was our second stay at this property - both visits were for ice fishing. The accommodations were very nice. The kitchen is nicely equipped.Communication with the owner was also very efficient.

Great Vacation House

The house is so great! We loved the little sun room and deck, but the fire pit and beach were our absolute favorites! Also a great location to easily get to Mackinac and Cheboygan! Thanks again Nick, we would love to come back again!!
