"Excellent communication! Really nice place. The screened in porch was our favorite! Saw all sorts of ducks and geese. Saw a woodpecker. Even got to watch a couple of beavers hard at work! Would definitely stay again. It was close to our hunting spots for mushrooms. Had a little bit of a problem with the tv! Sent him a message and had it taken care of very quickly! The sofa in the living room is like sitting in a bean bag chair with almost the same difficulty getting up from it. This has been pointed out by previous guests. I am a veteran with a bad knee and was disappointed that this was the only viable seating in the living room area. Also, I feel that guests shouldn’t be asked to strip the linen from their beds. "Great location in a quaint city! Very peaceful"

"The place is nice, with nice finish/furnishings. BUT, one of the main reasons we booked here was for the hot tub, which apparently had already been winterized without telling anyone (including us). The management company was responsive, but their initial resolution was to refund the hot tub fee. I told them that wasn't good enough, and they agreed on a partial refund of $100 for our three night stay. So, not exactly what we expected, but it was okay. We still enjoyed the fire pit and went out...

"We had just the right amount of space as a family of 4. The bathroom is small, so it's one at at time getting ready, but it's clean and organized. The kitchen and grill had all we needed to make meals. It's two blocks to the beach and two blocks to ice cream and pizza! Can't beat that for a family vacation. Petosky is 30 minutes away. Mackinac Island is 30 minutes away. Perfect location for us."

"Great spot located relatively close to area ski resorts, with TONS of space for a large group and many beds for great sleeping capacity. House was relatively clean and easy to access as well, great affordable option for a large gathering place up north!"
