"An old hotel, but very updated. Our TV had different options for Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc. the room was nice and big, great for 2 people. And it was a 2 minute walk from Nabari Station. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. The only problem we noticed was in the light there were some cobwebs. We did see a spider on the wall as well. Other than that, everything was fine!"

"Overall, my experience at the hostel was positive. The host was very friendly and helpful, providing recommendations for good tourist spots and even driving us to a local restaurant that had delicious food. The room was clean and well-prepared, with a comfortable bed that allowed for a good night's sleep. Additionally, the bathroom was large, providing ample space to get ready and shower comfortably. "The laundry room is conveniently on the 4th floor where we stayed. Since it is public, the risk is someone removing your items before you go claim it so I lost some socks due to another guest not removing everything fully from the machine I was using. The dryer definitely needs multiple runs so I wouldn’t suggest heavy fabrics going in.
The hotel has a board of cards for items you need (stool, ironing, hair straight, dvd player w/ anime collection nearby). They offer a number of amenities at the front if you forget your razor or toothbrush and other things.
There’s a great dry footbath at the entrance to refresh tired feet.
The front desk helped us book luggage forwarding to our next hotel for us. It’s very affordable and convenient. "
"Location is perfect. Its very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The onsen was lovely after several days on my feet. Surprise bonus of noodles at night was very welcoming. "
"Our stay at the hotel was excellent. The hotel is located in a very quiet area. The cleanliness and service/staff are excellent. The hotel has a shuttle service that takes you to the train station. Unfortunately, it only runs until the afternoon. The connection to Kyoto is okay. The natural surroundings of the hotel are beautiful, and you can be in the forest in a few minutes. This hotel is perfect for people who want to get away from the big cities."
"Really liked this spot because it’s in the middle of Kyoto and Osaka. The hotel is 10/10 there’s a laundry room and a gym room as well as a cafe and Jazz bar which is amazing so much offered by this hotel much better and the price was amazing. "
"My boyfriend and I were traveling to Kyoto. We didn’t realize how far it would be to travel back and forth from the hotel to Kyoto. Luckily the staff was able to give us a refund for the other two nights. They made sure we felt comfortable and that everything was going to be okay. During our stay we got to experience the scenery of the beautiful town and the people were so sweet. The stay wasn’t apart of our itenerary but in a way I’m glad we got to experience a town apart from the city. Highly recommend to get away from the city and explore the beau"
"The hotel room was standard size for Japanese standards. The people and facilities were really pleasant. They were so kind and helpful to us. We were very comfortable there and the onsen really rejuveated us after a long day of walking through Nara in rain.
Breakfast buffet has a selection of western and japanese cuisine. It was pretty middle standard fare and you opt to eat outside if you have something in mind but it is very convenient and covers a variety of foods people might eat.
We also splurged on the dinner but had a lovely meal. The foods included local cuisine and food iconic to Japan.
But if you on a budget, resturants are all 10-15 min walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and local marts are also 5-10 min away. You can easily make a meal out of the food you find there yourself.
I am very grateful to the staff for making this little place comfortable for us. Would recommend if you staying in Nara for a short visit."
"Brilliant location.
The rooftop view. Wow!!
Rooms great size with awesome views of the city.
Truly enjoyed are last night here after visiting Japan for 20 days.
Hope to visit again one day.
