"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. "Stayed for 3 nights in October 2025. The stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable, warm and clean. The hosts were very accommodating and done rverything to make my stay plesent. The property is in a very nice, remote, and quiet area. Chateaubriant is a ten minute drive away, with lots of nice restaurants. Dinner one evening was very plesent and good value for money. "The house, though not state of the art, was okay. Everything we needed was available. The rooms are spacious as the kitchen is. The garden was so beautiful. We couldn't stop watching (we were at the right time I suppose). Flowers were still blooming and there was an abbundance of fruit and vegetables we were allowed to use. This and the absolute silence was overwhelming.The environment of the estate is beautiful and quiet as well. Ghislaine is a very nice host. Present when needed. "
