"We had trouble with the door lock on one of our rooms but maintenance did get it resolved fairly quickly. Check in staff was very pleasant. Rooms were clean. Are conditioning kept rooms cool. It was in the upper 80's outside during our stay "

"Our stay, there would have been perfect, except for a traumatizing event that could have been prevented. We were given excellent service by the majority of staff, whether it was from the person cooking in our omelette, to check in, etc., but when we were given an extra two hours for late checkout, we got back only 30 minutes into the given two hours to find our room completely ransacked by housekeeping. My iPad and toiletries bag were turned in to the front desk, but our newly purchased cooler with my food, (including gourmet chocolate I had purchased evening the before) was found by my husband buried on the housekeeping cart. Chocolate was eaten. Obvious intent to keep our property. Other items of ours were thrown out that cost more than $50. It was confirmed by management that housekeeping knew of our late check out approval. In no way did it look like we accidentally left an item behind. It clearly looked like we were not prepared to check out yet (which we weren’t and we had approval for) yet housekeeping did not doublecheck with anyone before deciding to take over our room and throw out some of our things, keep some of our things, and turn in two items to the front desk. We are still upset about it. We chose Embassy Suites for its excellent reputation and location. I don’t know if I feel confident saying I would stay there or recommending it unfortunately. We do not feel their compensation really matched the breach of trust and loss we experienced."

"Liked: Comfortable bed. Convenient to our destination. Disliked: when we checked in there was a sign “pool closed”. We were staying two nights and didn’t pre pay. I asked about the pool closure and was told by the front desk that “it will reopen tomorrow”. It was later anyway so I went ahead and stayed instead of finding other accommodations. The pool did not re-open. Our room was strange. It was a king suite that was partially remodeled. The love seat (with three end piece cushions) was shoved on the side of the night stand that was not removed in the remodel. The night stand and the two headboards remained. Due to the positioning of the loveseat it was located about one foot from the fridge that opened out into the wall, not into the room. The table was shoved onto a corner. This resulted in a LOT of empty space. The king bedroom had a matching nightstand the same as to the one in the living room. The other night stand was an odd height mismatched nightstand. The hallway had an odd chemical/mold smell. When I notified the night manager (the same one who advised me the pool would be open) the room was jumbled together making it difficult to access the fridge and leaving a lot of empty space and the smell he replied that “the room is furnished like it was supposed to be, there was not odd smell in the second floor hallway and the contractors didn’t finish”. Zero empathy. I didn’t mention that the living room ac made a weird sound when running. DISPLEASED"

"A big draw was the fun pool for the kids and the fitness area for myself, but the fitness area really lacked variety of weights and both treadmills and elliptical were out of order. The pool was CRAZY high with chlorine that it stung your eyes just walking into the area, and the sinks in the room was poorly positioned during installation so everything on the counter got wet whenever you used the sink."

"We got the property for the pool for the kids. You couldn't hear in there because there were about 10 teenage boys in there who were screaming and stealing a ball from 3 girls. The girls parent went to the front desk who sent a worker back there. He said something to one of the boys then left. Didn't solve anything so we left the pool."

"The property smelled as soon as we walked in. Like old, wet hotel. The shower had mold spots. Lets just say it needs a major upgrade and if you are weird about old dirty smells and bathrooms, save yourself the trip and book elsewhere. Also the carpet was not the best."
