This is a truly unique experience. The grounds are beautifully landscaped; the rooms are large, comfortably furnished, and very private; there is a working farm, a distillery, and a coffee roaster as part of the property; and a terrific restaurant. And it is adjacent to the IncaRail train station.

Simply an extraordinary stay. Great value in what we considered a lovely room. Extraordinary location…walk out the door and catch the train to Machu Picchu. Amazing garden cultivated to supply it’s great restaurant.

The El Albergue is a very unique property. It’s literally located steps from the train tracks at Ollantaytambo Station. There is definitely noise from the trains, but I booked an interior room that faces the mountains and had no issues. The property is very quaint and the staff was very accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.
