"A gem of a find in a remote location next to a beautiful Loch. The rooms are generous in size with large windows overlooking the loch, and fully functional, including a kitchen area and bathroom. Meals and breakfast are available in the Inn next door, not a huge menu but ideal if you don’t want to cook as nearest town is 18 miles away. Food was very tasty."

"Lovely, spacious rooms and delightful staff. Dinner menu was fantastic and we took up the offer for packed lunches (sandwich, yoghurt, crisps and delicious rocky road) for our continuing NC500 journey which were excellent and very inexpensive. Loved the laid back atmosphere, we felt comfortable and at home. Definitely recommend! "

"This pod is bigger than it looks we were over the moon. Unfortunately we were only staying one night . In the morning we had 8 deer in the field opposite our pod. Excellent welcome pack with milk and breakfast items plus 4 eggs. We wished we had been staying longer"

"A very clean and well presented homely property in the centre of this working fishing settlement . It is spacious and has everything you might need, if you haven’t the Spar shop is just across the road. Lovely Oldshawmore Beach, one of several in the area, is only a ten minute drive away and Kinlochbervie is well placed for exploring mountains inland, the dunes and enormous beach near Durness, points of interest like Smoo Caves or taking a ferry ride from Tarbet to Handa Island."
