"Great location, breakfast was very disappointing - we got there an hour before it apparently ended (we were told 11 on check-in but it was actually 10.30) to find very little left - about 4 odd grapes, 1 or 2 croissants.... very slim pickings indeed, and the lack of dairy-free yogurt, cheese, etc. was disappointing. Also lacking was the rooftop bar we saw advertised throughout the hotel - we eventually managed to get the 1 overworked lift to take us up but there was no sign of any bar, so don't get too excited about a sunset drink on the rooftop cos it's not happening. Location between station and port was superb so we'd stay again while transiting through."

"I'm eating this five stars, but I do have some specific caveats that won't mean much to many people. The hotel is excellent. It's located between the train station and road where many buses stop, and much of the city of Toulon is walkable from here. My main caveat was about the WiFi. It's fast but restricted in some very specific ways, and a little unreliable in poor weather too. For most people this'll be fine, it's good enough to mitigate the dent in your roaming data. But I found myself unable to join audio calls via Discord, unable to to play multiplayer games on my laptop, and unable to connect to my VPN for more secure use. My job is to make trailers for video games, so I don't expect this to affect many people. But if you need to do some work in a laptop whilst here, you may end up bumping up against these odd limitations. With all that said, I'd recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. It's priced like an IBIS but it's a lot less anonymous, with friendly and helpful staff and clean rooms. I recommend a room with a terrace, they're not much more expensive than a regular room. I really enjoyed the extra space and the view."
