"Firstly, the staff were lovely - gave me the really quiet room that I’d requested and was very much appreciated! The location cannot be more central &, though an old traditional building, it has been well maintained and the room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was simple but fine & a bargain at €2. Will definitely return when in beautiful Avila. Muchas Gracias!"

"Property located within the walls of Avilia. Researched first on their website, http://www.hostaldondiego.es/en/don_diego_hostel. Parking under the hotel and rooms air conditioned. Booked site and sent email requesting parking. On arrival noted no catering for disability. No one at reception so had to ring external doorbell. After a while a male let us in. WARNING do not arrive in the afternoon when he is on siesta, grumpy does not cover it. No parking had been reserved and when asked...
