"We had a wonderful time staying at the Wingate, the only issue we had was the hot water wasn’t as hot as what we are used to at our house. My girlfriend enjoys a bath about as hot as boiling some chicken over an open fire, I on the other hand enjoy a warm shower but even with the hot water turned all the way on it still was a bit off. Other than that absolutely everything else exceeded our expectations."

"I honestly would pass if you have another comparable option. My experience wasn’t great, unfortunately. It started off with having to wait over 15 minutes to check in. No big deal, really, but that was the start to the odd experience as the nice lady at the counter seemed overwhelmed. Upon getting my room key, I went straight to my room. After trying for 10 minutes to get my key to work, it finally did. I thought for sure I’d have to ask for help. I ate my take out food, showered and was in bed by 9pm. After having driven for 10.5 hours straight, I was exhausted. Much to my surprise, I awoke at 9:45pm with someone trying to get into my room. I jumped up, checked the peep hole, and saw a woman and her family trying to get in. I opened the door and they were so apologetic and embarrassed. After the adrenaline rush, I fell back asleep around 11:00pm. Once again, at 11:45, I awoke to someone else trying to get into my room. Same drill, but this time, it was a woman and her husband…equally embarrassed and apologetic. What was curious was the man showed me his key card and sure enough, my room number (219 for those interested) was written on it. As with the other family, I tried to help ease their embarrassment and told them it was ok! Back to bed again, and it was about 30 minutes later that the hotel room phone rang. It was the front desk trying to figure out who I was….at midnight. He looked my name up couAfter 15 minutes on the phone with the very nice and apologetic man, he "

"The staff are super accommodating and helpful. There are several businesses close by; which makes it convenient to go anywhere. The room has air conditioning, a microwave, a refrigerator, and is quiet."

"The breakfast selection was not very good. Coffee was very bitter. I added cream and sugar and it tasted the same."

"I had a very uncomfortable stay and would not recommend this hotel. The room had a strong, unpleasant odor from the moment I walked in. I reported it to the front desk and even asked about canceling my reservation, but since I booked through a third party, I was told that wasn’t an option. The cleanliness was also a major issue. The bed sheets had visible stains. Although the front desk initially claimed they were clean, once he came to the room and saw them himself, he ended up changing them—so there was clearly a problem. He also sprayed air freshener after noticing the smell, but that was only a temporary fix and didn’t address the underlying issue. Unfortunately, the towels and washcloths were also stained. Thankfully, I had brought my own, so I didn’t need to raise another complaint. Overall, this experience left me feeling like I wasted my money. I would not stay here again and would advise others to look elsewhere."
