Hyatt House Austin/Downtown
10/10 Excellent
"We really enjoyed our stay. The rotating breakfast options were a huge plus, had a great variety each day with plenty of high-carb and healthy choices, which was perfect for our fitness competition. There was also lots of space to sit and eat comfortably.
The location was convenient, and we realized it was only a short walk to the busy nightlife. However, it didn’t feel like the safest area to walk back from bars alone or without a larger group.
Our room was great, spacious, clean, and we appreciated having a small kitchen with a microwave, sink, and fridge.
The only downside was parking. We had to choose between valet or feeding street meters. They were fast to bring car around when we needed it. Other than that, it was a solid stay."
"This place was incredible! The staff were extra friendly and helpful. We ate at the Second Kitchen restaurant our first night and loved the food so much we ended up canceling our breakfast reservation at another favorite brunch spot the next day so we could eat there another time. If you’re into quaint bohemian style boutique hotels, DO NOT MISS THIS ONE! "
