"Would not let me check in at 20 years old, but kept my money"

"An excellent hotel to stay at, especially if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room to sleep in with kind staff, while spending the day exploring the area. My husband and I stayed here for two nights when we came into town for a concert and also planned to hike on a nearby part of the Appalachian Trail. The staff, especially Tara who checked us in and provided great local restaurant recommendations, were kind and helpful. I happened to mention to Tara that we had taken the trip to celebrate our birthdays, and the next day a card with birthday wishes and signatures from her and many other staff members slid under our room door. It was such an unexpected and sweet gesture and we were truly touched. The complimentary breakfast had a good amount of options and was as good as a free hotel breakfast can be. Overall, we were impressed. I generally only stay at Marriotts, but will definitely include Avid on my list of good, affordable hotels in the future."

"Rooms were nice and modernized. Front desk did not have any technical peripherals. Needed an HDMI which was a bummer. "

"Nice, clean, no frills hotel. Front desk person was so sweet and helpful I chose this hotel because it is a Hilton property, and because it offered on site EV Chargers. It has four Tesla Fast Chargers (which are configured for Tesla's only), but there was one non-Tesla Level 2 charger that I was able to use to charge my Ford PHEV. And the chargers are free."

"Room was clean, and the bed comfortable. Typical breakfast, I have stayed at several IHG properties and the only inconsistencies I found were with the breakfast. Some have gluten free muffins or other products for individuals with gluten allergies. "
