My husband and I honeymooned in Prague 60 years ago (in a pup tent), and picked Nerudova for it's romantic quality, its neighborhood (right below the castle heights), and exquisitely painted beamed ceilings. Luxury Family Hotel Royal Palace

10/10 Excellent

"Hotel was nice, great location. Breakfast buffet was good too, the ladies working there were attentive and polite. We were in and out of the hotel multiple times per day, the staff always greeted us each time. They also were able to check us in a few hours early without charging or making us wait. The room itself was really nice and had a great view of the Prague Castle. The hotel location was amazing, very central and close to Charles Bridge, Prague Castle, Mala Strana, and the walk across the bridge you’re now in downtown old town. Very, very, central for walking. Always felt safe in this area too. One odd thing about the room was the amount of loose bathroom accessories. For example, the soap holder in the shower was loose, the toilet seat lid was loose, and a couple other things I can’t remember now. So a little maintenance would do them well. The room was clean though, no question about that. I also only experienced the “cold water in the morning” one time out of five days, and my wife immediately after had hot water. Would stay here again."

"Beautifully appointed rooms, Exceptional service. Housekeeping daily with robes, slippers, and bedside chocolates. Great location for walking to attractions. We stayed in the units in the nearby annex, which were incredibly quiet. The Restaurant Pod Vezi was so good we ate dinner there twice during our 5 day stay, using room charge for convenience. It is fine dining at its best. Make reservations to get best dining times. Our package also came with complimentary breakfast at that same restaurant, It was superb. If ever in Prague again, this is where we will stay."
