The concierge recommended a guided tour of Sandwich Harbour, booked the tour for us and set up transportation. It was phenomenal! The massage at the spa was fantastic. The room with a balcony view of the ocean was stunning. No detail is missed at The Strand Hotel. I highly recommend it!"

We had two early mornings and had to leave before breakfast, however the staff made a huge boxed breakfast and made me coffee before we left. They also went out of their way to organize a taxi for us. I highly recommend this hotel. "

"I have paid for the hostel but didn't realize that they don't have reception or anyone working after 8pm. I rang the door bell and called multiple times when I arrived but nobody answered. I couldn't check in and had to book another place last minute. I asked if I could get a credit for the night but they still charged me and wouldn't refund me for the booking and said it was my fault because I didn't notify them that I'll arrive after 8pm. I find the hostel is profit minded and doesn't have the best interest of guests in mind. "
