"The people were fine, but the building is old and feels old - the bathroom door didn't close properly, the AC/heater was very loud and right next to the bed, the fridge made a constant ticking sound, and the carpet wasn't vacuumed. Just overall dingy and old feeling, while well located for a morning airport drop off."

"An issue with our original room was resolved promptly and graciously by the manager on duty. We were moved to a spacious room with a lovely view.
Breakfast was good and it was good to see they have gluten free options by request.
This was a return visit for us and we will make this our regular home away from home when in Halifax."

"We stayed at the Forth Lock the night before an early morning flight. The B&B is close to the airport and the Resturant is a great place to eat. The rooms are efficient and being able to have a nice dinner in the same building is a great feature. I can see us booking the whole "house" if we were doing something in Halifax."

"This is a clean, friendly and I'd bet a busy motel. The rooms are clean, quiet, and the staff was very efficient. We stayed there upon our return from a vacation. We checked in at 4:00am. It's a convienent place to stay when returning to Nova Scotia. We will stay there again."
