"This hotel is in a great location its handy for shopping and entertainment. The hotel itself is a bit dated and in need of some refurbishment. Our room was really nice much better than rooms we have had in this hotel before. We went to get drinks in the hotel bar before going on our night out, 4 members of staff were at the reception area chatting we sat for 10 minutes and and no one came to serve us so we got up and left, the staff were still there when we left. The bar area had changed since our last visit, its now all table service for meals, no relaxing atmosphere."

"We were only staying one night and I wasn't going to review as we got in late and left early but I wanted people to know what to expect. The sheets are clean and the beds were comfy but there are dubious stains all over including the walls. The decor is very tired and some of the furnishings look like recycled things from the 60s. As for cleanliness there is mould on the bottom of the provided shower gel containers, the underneath of the sink was filthy."

"Staff were friendly, we arrived earlier than check in time, staff stored our luggage in a locked area and labelled band provided for safe collection of luggage. At reception area there is also snacks available throughout day/overnight Room was clean with selection of tea, coffee, milk for cuppa and toiletries provided. Breakfast was good, catered for lactose and gluten allergies Quiet overnight and close to all amenities in ciry centre"

"The staff member on reception was excellent - Lauren. Breakfast was good, lots of staff ensuring the buffet always stocked and food was fresh. Bar is dated and house white wine dreadful. Room comfortable if slightly dated, bed comfortable."
