"The check in was smooth, the location is perfect if you are coming by ferry from Onomichi, 2 minute walk. The complimentary lemon beer, juice and water were a nice touch. The public bath was very good too. The main street is very desolate, only a couple of restaurants open and all the shops were closed most of the time."

"The house is massive and super cute! Lots of space to sleep and hang out. Full kitchen (cutest tiniest oven ever), and free washer/dryer with soap provided. Bathtub has an automatic heating feature which was super cool coming from a Canadian who has never seen this before. Super close to the ferry port. Fairly accessible by public transport from Hiroshima airport. "

"5 stars is nowhere NEAR enough for this one of a kind stay. Dani is extremely accommodating and very communicative. She will arrange for taxi pick up if you get here by bus, or boat. The home itself has so much history and these wonderful little notes about the renovation process. Dani also was very good at explaining how everything in the house worked from appliances to water heating. We played Famicom for hours it was just too fun. If you are a foreigner who is intimidated by venturing away...
