First visit to Okayama and wish we stayed longer! Good city vibe and very easy to visit Shikoku Island.






If you're spending some time in Kita Ward, Kanko Stadium and Momotaro Arena are top sights worth seeing.

If you're spending some time in Minami Ward, Okayama South Village and Setonaikai National Park are top sights worth seeing.

If you're spending some time in Naka Ward, Parade Hill Park and Yumeji Art Museum are top sights worth seeing.

Check out nearby sights like Bizen Osafune Knife Museum while you're spending some time in Higashi Ward and the surrounding area.

While visiting Omotecho, you might make a stop by sights like Okayama Performing Arts Theatre and Sunny Country Okayama-kan.

Nakasange might not have many top sights, but Okayama Performing Arts Theatre and Okayama Castle are two attractions nearby that you can check out.

The in-house laundry facility is convenient. The room looks outdated: the steps into the bathroom can be risky for older people. The bathtub is too deep and has no grab bars. The staff can be quite unhelpful. We asked for a room change to a room with a shower outside of the tub. We were charged extra ...

The staff were really kind and professional, providing excellent service and help, but the actual facilities were not great. There is no on site laundry (there is a service only on Monday to Friday), the AC is centrally controlled with the only alternative being off, and the actual room was not very ...

Very central to trips within the city and surrounding area. Washing machine and WiFi we're very useful and easy to use. Good valued apartment if you're looking for basic facilities.

A dynamically modern university, resolutely open to the whole world, occupies a set of campus buildings scattered near Okayama’s downtown.

Try on a kimono or attempt to sculpt some Bizen pottery while you tour an accurate reconstruction of Kyushu’s famous “crow castle.”

One of Western Japan’s biggest shopping malls has more than 300 shops, restaurants and more, just a few steps from the train station.

Tradition and innovation mingle in a remarkable riverside landscaped space, founded in the 17th century and considered one of Japan’s best gardens.

Kibitsu-zukuri style architecture has an excellent example in is this sprawling temple complex considered the origin of the Momotaro story.

After visiting Saijoinari Temple, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Okayama. Amble around the area's gardens or seek out its cycling trails.
