The apartment was extensively renovated in 2024–2025 and is situated above the rooftops of Öhningen with views towards Switzerland.

The apartment is an ideal starting point for cycling tours, hikes, tours on the Rhine with SUP, inflatable boat, or mountain biking on nature trails and in the bike park. The picturesque town of Stein am Rhein is 3 kilometers away. Local experiences include boat trips, evening boat rides, a visit to the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, as well as excursions to Constance or Mainau Island. In the area you will find a butcher, bakery, supermarket, and several farm shops for your daily needs.
