"We really enjoyed our stay at The Lakes by Yoo. Everything was clean and well designed and the pool and spa facilities were good. Most importantly the staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. There was a minor issue with our original room so they kindly upgraded us to a suite for our final night, which we weren't able to stay in as we had to leave due to a family emergency, but the gesture was greatly appreciated. We hope to visit again in the future! "

"Check in staff excellent & lobby with Starbucks & pub very useful indeed. Room comfortable & clean with a nice view. UF there was a negative, it would be the window frames which had not been cleaned ever & were dusty to the point of mould. However, this did not detract from an overall great stay. "

"the Gray Manor Hotel and Wedding Venue: We got our room and after going into the room finding out the cleaners had not been in there. All the bed sheets and pillows were stained and there was hair all over the place. I went back to the reception to complain, and a man came out in his bathrobe with no shoes on and his chest hanging out; he had clearly just gotten out of bed. He eventually gave me another room, but this one was just as bad, with lipstick stains all over the headboard and a filthy bathroom. The rest of the night was an absolute disaster. There was a huge vibration noise coming from the taps and a constant beeping noise coming from the hallway that made it impossible to sleep. This place was a total nightmare and definitely not what you would expect from a hotel and wedding venue. I would not recommend staying here."

"2nd time at this hotel, but this time disappointing. We were in room 19 as we were travelling with our dog, which is a nice room, with a bathroom well suited to handicapped guests. All of which was fine. Sadly there was no heating and no hot water, so shower was very fast in the morning! Dinner… many things on the menu were unavailable due to a delivery problem and an upcoming new menu launch. Sadly what we did get was mediocre, and probably not great value. Breakfast… much better. Would I stay again, probably not. It is a nice hotel, but we just felt let down this time."
