From the garden ( out of which 300 m2 are enclosed), nice view on the countryside and hills. 4 Km from the Salagou lake in a setting of hills of ruffes ochres red. 5 mn on foot from a small peaceful river.

Ruhiger Urlaub in Seenähe

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im kleinen Örtchen Octon sehr genossen. Die Gegend ist fürs Wandern und Fahradfahren einfach ideal. Unser Hund war auch begeistert von den vielen Möglichkeiten. Der Cirque Mourèze muss als tolle Tour hervor gehoben werden. Zwar anstengend aber genial.

Une merveille

Bel emplacement dans une maison de charme et un très joli village. Nous avons fortement apprécié l'accueil chaleureux de la propriétaire avec qui nous avons pu aussi échanger nos connaissances naturalistes. Dans le village une épicerie bien achalandée avec de bons produits nous a bien rendu service. Le village d'Octon est bien centré et permet en peu de distance de visiter les alentours. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cette propriété qui nous a tant plu que nous reviendrons l'an prochain.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une magnifique région à découvrir. Le gite est très confortable avec son petit jardin calme et discret.Le village est animé avec trois restaurants et une épicerie ou l'on trouve l'essentiel.Enfin merci à Mme Jeanjean pour son accueil chaleureux ses conseils et sa gentillesse. Aucun problème avec ce gîte, par contre, côté réservation...

Le gîte était parfait ainsi que sa propriétaire, très aux petits soins pour nous ! Le souci était plutôt avec la centrale de réservation d'Abritel : grosses difficultés pour finaliser le règlement du solde par internet, délais très court avant d'avoir l'adresse précise du gîte et pas de n° téléphonique pour obtenir de l'aide.

Wunderschöner Herbst

Wir haben mit unserem Hund Anfang November eine wunderschöne Herbstwoche in dieser Ferienwohnung verbracht. Die Küche, für uns immer wichtig, ist sehr gut und aufmerksam mit guten Qualitätsstandard ausgerüstet. Die vielen kleinen, aber sehr dezenten Aufmerksamkeiten bei der Dekoration und übrigen Ausstattungen, eine gut funktionierende Heizung für die im Novemeber etwas längeren Abende machen den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm. Die sehr ruhige Lage in einer Nebenstraße und dennoch in 2 Minuten auf dem Dorfplatz mit seiner charmanten Bar, die auch gutes Essen offeriert, daneben die Epicerie (frische tägliche Backwaren, Grundausstattung für Küche und Haushalt), alles kleine Details für eine schöne Woche. Wer die bescheidene Architektur der Romanik liebt, belebte Wochenmärkte findet mit Wanderungen oder auch in die mit dem Auto vielfältige Ziele.Uferwanderungen am See sind vermutlich im Sommer nicht so ruhig wie zu dieser Jahreszeit. Alles wunderbar

Le gite est au grand calme, dans un joli petit village. Il est très propre, bien agencé et très complet. Il y a bien trop a visiter dans la région pour une seule semaine: le lac du Salagou, Mourèze et son cirque, la Couvertoirade, le cirque de Navacelles, la grotte de Clamouze, Saint Guilhem le désert, Pézenas, ,Montpellier, la Méditerranée....

Accueil chaleureux, cadre paisible, aménagé avec goût

Octon est un village encore préservé, avec son épicerie accueillante où l'on trouve pratiquement tout. Le gite, quoique un peu sombre (c'est une maison très ancienne) est aménagé avec goût et bien équipé. Il est très calme. Les propriétaires, chaleureux et disponibles, font partager leur attachement à la région. Depuis le gite, on peut faire de magnifiques randonnées, vers les collines, le lac du Salagou, ou plus loin vers les gorges de l'Hérault, les Causses, Montpellier, la mer... Nous nous sommes promis de revenir!
