If you wanted to take a ride down to other parts of San Diego the train station is right there. Legoland, Carlsbad Outlets, Flower Fields, Golf Resorts and Del Mar Race Track are just minutes in the car. There are always local events, surf contests, concerts, art walks and a farmers market every Thursday.
