The maintenance of the unit was not great and it was not as clean as I would have hoped.

Great beach vacation!
I loved every minute of our stay at Lands End! Nate was so easy to work with and always helpful. He answered all my questions and was eager to make our stay perfect! We started off in room 11 which was a tad tight for 3 adults and a child. It was a great room, don’t get me wrong. Luckily, Nate was able to move us to room 15 which gave us more space. I loved the patio, as did my daughter who made friends with most of the neighbors, and the chairs over looking the strand right in front of our room. The beach was so close! Listening to the waves as I drifted to sleep each night was the best! The kitchen had most everything we needed for the stay. Our room did have a crockpot but we most always travel with one for easy dinners. My suggestion for the kitchen would be pot holders. My only suggestion to make this place even better would be a fire pit for the patio. Those chilly nights would be a little warmer. I can’t say enough great things about Lands End! I cannot wait to be back!
You can’t beat this location. The amenities inside the place are great too. When we first arrived the humidity was so high and not having an AC or enough cool wind flow was really tough. Overall though we would absolutely stay here again...but maybe we bring some sort of detached unit or something to keep us AZ folks cool and dry.
Exactly as listed. We were not disappointed at all!! We really enjoyed sitting in the deck watching all of the surfers every morning. Nate was very responsive. The garages are very small as mentioned in the listing. A full size care barely fits inside. We will definitely be back.
The facility was clean and nice, but the bathroom was so small you had no place to put anything except on the toilet lid. It says it sleeps four but the fold down couch is vinyl so needs a pad to cover it under the sheet, we had to use towels on top of it. The location is great, can walk to the pier and downtown, view of pier and sunsets were great. Also the garage says will hold small suv, that would be a very small suv. Our vehicle would only fit when we folded the mirrors and I parked it because my husband would be to big to get out. But I still give it 5 stars.
The location is great. The ocean is right at your sidewalk. Access to the sand was limited as rocks and boulders had been loaded up to the sidewalk to help protect the boardwalk from the water damage. The unit was very small. Two adults were almost too much and if there were 4 people, at least two of them should be children. Our purpose was to be near the water and not be trapped in our rental unit so the size wasn't a big problem. The unit was immaculate, as were the linens and bed - my #1 concern. Everything was fairly new and worked! The coaster station was an easy 2 block walk and the Pier was a nice walk.

Oceanside piece of heaven at Land's End
This perfectly-located, clean small apartment is a perfect place to stay when you visit Oceanside. The town is very walkable, which you can and should do from this beachfront location. Other great beach towns are closeby for exploring. The shared deck on the main floor has everything you need to make it your own space (chairs, tables, grills). This location is pet-friendly, which is a wonderful plus! Your excellent host Nathan is always available for any needs and local recommendations. You will have your own designated garage---it's a tight fit, but a welcome amenity! I highly recommend Nathan and this location!

Southern Style Hospital in California
I couldn't have ask for a more professional and accommodating person to work with than Nathan . My weekend was disrupted a little by my sons admission to a local military hospital before I arrived for our R&R weekend, but Nathan kept in contact and made my visit to Oceanside to see my son an excellent experience. I will be a repeat visitor.

Relaxing stay with a friendly, small-town vibe
Oceanside has been described as one of the last remaining small-town beach communities. It is the last stop on the northbound San Diego coaster line, which gives easy access to San Diego, and has been able to maintain that homey, even neighborly kind of feel despite great growth in the past few years. Nathan’s property at Lands End reflects that community feel. When we pulled into the courtyard, we were welcomed with our names on the community information board and were able to go immediately to our room and settle in. Nathan lives on the property with his family and a few long term residents. The beach is literally across “The Strand”, a one-way single lane of road while Oceanside’s iconic pier is less than 1/2 a mile away . The room was well furnished and comfortable. We were concerned about the lack of air-conditioning, but leaving the windows open with the cross breeze and the sound of the waves made the adjustment very pleasant. There are a number of things to do in Oceanside, mainly focusing on the beach/surfing, fishing, and food. You will not have a problem finding a place to eat here; your problem will be deciding which one. Ruby’s, at the end of the pier, is a classic 50’s burger and shake diner with great views and even better food. Also close by is The Flying Pig, a local-sourced farm to table restaurant with upscale food and an impressive drink selection. For breakfast, Honey’s has large portions and some of the best coffee we had in Oceanside. For an afternoon snack, the Strand offers a number of small food stands, including Aqua, which has a fantastic selection of shaved ice treats. All of this is within easy walking distance of Lands End, where you can settle in at the close of the day on the large deck to watch the cruisin’ cars, the people, and a spectacular sunset. If you want to disconnect and take some time to relax, this is the place to go.

Very nice place and great location
The rooms were well maintained and well stocked with necessities. They have a laundry room and beach items you can use on the beach. Nathan was very responsive to any problems you have and he was very prompt. This was a great stay.

Great little beachside apartment
The unit was clean and comfortable. It's tough to beat the view with the door open, which allows a great view of the beach, especially at night as the lights lining the pier reflect off the surf. There are a lot of nearby restaurants, and some cool, distinctly SoCal markets and shops, right in walking distance.
The beach is obviously the highlight---right across a small car accessible boardwalk. You can run back to the unit for more drinks or to reapply sunscreen (definitely reapply sunscreen), or head inside for a midday nap and go out again in the afternoon. A lot of cars drive by, but I enjoyed seeing the classics and other eye-catchers mixed in.
All in all, I had a perfect stay. I'd go back anytime!
