"Room is very dirty. Mattress on pull out sofa had holes blood stains and dead bugs. They do not clean at all. The bathroom tub was brown the staff did not clean up. The bed sheets had blood stains on them. We watch the staff clean and all they did was spray for smell and pass the mop 1 time and said done. Do not stay at this hotel. The manger don't care or the staff. They are very rude also. I have stayed at many hotels in Ocean City MD but this one takes the cake for nasty and dirty. Sad part it was not beach season yet. It was very cold. Mind you it's April 19th 2026. Its nasty at this time can you see summer. Go to the Aloft or something in that caliber. If this is all you can afford come with things to deep clean room... your own sheets, towels, pillows etc... don't use the pull out couch. Last but not lease the balcony door did not lock and we stayed on the 6th floor bay view room with kids. They charge for parking nothing about this hotel was resort. This was a motel hidden in a high rise. This hotel charge so much for 1 night or in general. Why can't you afford couches and beds. Its always sold out as the staff clams why is everything worn down and old. What do you all do with the money. Part of up keep is the items people use like sheets, towels, good couches and mattress. Not bloody stuff. Yes people can be nasty and treat things like crap but that's why you all charge for incidents. I will never stay in this hotel ever again."
"I’ve stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Ocean City multiple times over the years, and it remains my go-to for “affordable luxe.” The ambience, chic decor, and that signature Hilton scent set the tone immediately—it’s such a calming, elevated experience.
The rooms are consistently clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Housekeeping was especially kind and accommodating, refreshing our room and bringing extra towels while we enjoyed the beach. Service like that never goes unnoticed.
The oceanfront view? 10/10. Waking up to those serene, picture-perfect sunrises is truly unmatched. And the location is ideal—just a quick walk through the sand to the start of the boardwalk.
Staff was a highlight this stay—the front desk gentleman was warm and welcoming, and the associate who helped with our luggage was exceptional.
A couple notes: the hotel is very dog-friendly, which may be a plus for some, but there were quite a few dogs during this stay. Elevator rides were often shared, and I did hear barking through the walls at times. A designated pet-free floor would be a great option for guests without animals. Also, the pool was a bit underwhelming (around a 6/10) and could’ve been cleaner, though it still worked as a fun backup for the kids on a chilly day.
Overall, this hotel continues to deliver on comfort, views, and vibe—I’ll absolutely be back."
"I wished that the Shooter Restaurant and bar was open while I was staying there. I love their food and breakfast buffet. If they still have the buffet.

"I had an amazing stay at Holiday Inn & Suites Ocean City by IHG! From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with beautiful ocean views that made the stay even more special. The bed was super cozy, and the amenities were top-notch. I also loved how well-maintained and clean the entire property was.
The location is perfect—right on the beach and close to restaurants, shops, and the boardwalk. It made getting around so easy and convenient without needing to go far.
Overall, this hotel delivered an outstanding experience. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ocean City. Truly a 5-star stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐"
"I booked an ocean front room and the view did not disappoint. The check in and staff were amazing throughout my 3 night stay. The beds were clean and comfortable, the wifi worked well and the in room coffee and small kitchen were nice. The hotel room ceiling and bath fixtures are in need of updates. The atrium area makes for a noisy experience with children playing in the pool. Ask for a room that does not have an adjoining door if you don't want to hear your neighbors. Overall I enjoyed my stay. I did not have a chance to visit the what looked welcoming bar. "
