The Downtown Retreat Four

Whether for work or play, you have found the perfect place to stay! If your requested dates are not available in The Downtown Retreat Four, please send an inquiry as we have several Retreats available within the same complex and may still be able to accommodate your requested dates. The Downtown Retreat Four is conveniently located in the heart of Ocala, just 0.7 miles from Advent Health and HCA Florida Hospitals, and 1.6 miles from the Historic Downtown Ocala Square for local fare, entertainment and nightlife. This newly renovated peaceful two-bedroom one bath Retreat is one of six Retreats located in a very quiet and private vacation complex owned by Ocala Marion Vacation Rentals.
The space
Perfect for the traveling professional, the unit offers a dedicated workspace and windows dressed with blackout curtains for great daytime sleep. For the vacationer, Ocala is an excellent base for exploring Central Florida or simply all that Ocala/Marion County has to offer.

The unit is equipped with key-less entry for easy check-in and fully stocked with all amenities needed for a relaxing short- or long-term stay to include a full-size washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, TVs in the living room and both bedrooms, bedside charging stations and a fully stocked kitchen for cooking meals. The unit is conveniently located close shopping (supermarket and retail), restaurants and hospitals.

Discounts are offered for weekly and monthly stays. While all units are ground level, three units have 2 steps to access therefore not handicapped accessible and has one reserved parking space. For the comfort of all guests, the complex does not allow smoking, pets nor parties. Your hosts live conveniently near the complex for any needs that may arise.

The entire unit is for guest access, there are no shared spaces.

Great apartment with all the amenities we needed for a 4 night stay in Ocala. We were able to prepare meals and get a good night rest since the property was in a quiet area.Good restaurants close by for going out as well.

In town for state swimmeet. Was clean and comfortable and not far from the aquatic center. Definitely better than a hotel and cheaper too. Will stay again next year.

Great place to stay.

My family and I were very pleased with this property. It is everything that is advertised. It was very clean and it has anything you need to be comfortable. The hostess was very nice and offered to help with anything that may arise during our stay. The neighborhood was quiet with no safety concerns. It was close to food and entertainment. I definitely recommend this property for anyone staying in the area.

Great experience

We were looking for an apartment-type rental for 3 weeks in the Ocala area and the Downtown Retreats fit the bill. The apartment was sufficiently spacious and comfortable and stocked with the basics for our stay. We never heard noise from the other units, but you are near two hospitals and a nursing home so there were sirens, but not loud enough to be a bother. The several times I reached out to Denise, she replied right away. We will stay here again without hesitation when we return to the area. Thanks for a great stay!

Cozy Apartment

Very nice property and the host is super attentive and helpful! In a good location and quiet neighborhood, we didn’t even hear the other guests nor saw many of them. It was definitely a safe place for our family to hunker down during Hurricane Milton as we evacuated Tampa Bay Area. Bedrooms nicely decorated and comfy with lots of closet space (could use more hangers) as is the bathroom. Kitchen is somewhat stocked with useful items. Overall, it was a great place to stay!

Just what we needed

This little apartment was just right for two of us. Check in was so easy as was check out (norhing crazy was asked- just take the trash out) It is located just 10 minutes away from WEC. It is clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quite and safe. There is a nee Public just .4 miles away it is new and wonderful. A walgreens and other restaurants are close hy too. Silver Springs State Park is 20 minutes away. Denise the owner was wonder to work with she helped with everything we needed. She was very responsive. We will stay here again if ever in Ocala.

Very comfortable place to stay!

Denise was super accomodating. She helped me book her place at the last minute. The place was in a great location (although gps had us going round and round and didn't take us right to the apartment. It was confused lol) But the apartment had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were so comfortable. And Denise checked on us during the week. I would stay here again if I needed to stay in Ocala. The location was perfect for us because my dad was at the nearby hospital. Even when he got moved to rehab the drive was only 20 min. It's a very centrally located place.

Clean and stocked but dark

I loved the unit and appreciated that it was very clean and stocked with the necessities. And it was spacious! But we came in on a Thursday evening and we were the only ones there. There were no lights in the parking area at all. As we approached the building from the parking lot, there was a light that came on, but we had to unload the car in the pitch black and we didn’t know the neighborhood and didn’t feel safe. Our unit was in the back so once we passed the initial light that came on, we had to walk in the dark again until we got to our door. If there had been other people there, perhaps some porch lights would have been on which would have helped. But it was dark and we felt isolated.

Amazing property right downtown

My step son just moved to Ocala Florida and was graduating . A perfect vacation for us from Phoenix . The property was right downtown . Publix super market was less than 1/4 mile. Restaurants were the same distance away. When we arrived the code to the door worked . Always a positive . The place was immaculate. We started to unload our groceries and found that some of the stuff we purchased such as spices happened to already be in the cabinet . After further looking around they supplied many other items Garbage bags, kpods, qtips, etc . It also looked like he previous tenants even left some unopened items they didn't use such as butter, salad dressing , mustard , ketchup . I could go on and on . Point . You won't be disappointed with the location and home for your vacation . To top it off the property manager was amazingly available whenever needed by text for any question I had . I would definitely go back next year.

Our visit was great! We took advantage of the kitchen for breakfast each day. The bathroom was super clean. The decor was well done. We has dinner almoat right around the corner, at Latinos y Mas, and enjoyed it very much!
