What an absolutely pleasant surprise this was. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the room we had was wonderful. Compact to be fair but well presented and very well appointed. Parking right outside and off street with a very pleasant walk down to the wonderful place that Oban is. The only negative was staying for only one night. Could have gladly stayed another three or four but the one night was memorable all the same thanks to wonderful hosts.

We loved our one night stay! Upon arrival we were greeted by Margaret. She made our first impression of this cute place one that made us wished we had booked another night. Our room was comfortable and very clean. The location is absolutely perfect as we were within walking distance to almost everything you would want to explore or visit. We were approximately a 10 min walk to McCaig’s Tower, 12 min walk to pier where you can enjoy fresh seafood, 10 min walk to walk Oban Distillery and 10 min drive to Dunstaffnage Castle. In the morning when we were just getting into our car to move to our next adventure, George came outside to wish us safe travels. Thank you Margaret and George for making our trip to Oban unforgettable.

The room was the best we had on our trip. It had shampoo, conditioner, soap in both the sink area and the shower. There was cold water and milk in the refrigerator and coffee/ tea. There was also a heated towel rack and great big towels. They also provided a shower cap. It was large enough that you could both move around the room. Highly recommend

We had a lovely stay at the property. Everything was cozy and charming and really well maintained. Very clean. And the extra touches and attention to detail were lovely. The owner that checked us in was also wonderful. Everything was peretty much perfect. The only thing that wasn’t up to par with the rest of the experience was the mattress. It was very hard and you could feel the springs coming through. I know mattresses can be a pricey upgrade, but our only advice to make the stay a 5 star rating would be to replace the mattress with a more comfortable one.
