Positive: Host and Manager were great. Property was neat and clean. We did not spend much time at the Unit as we were out for most of the day.Negative: Did not realize how far it was from Centro - not walkable. In our previous 2 stays in Oaxaca, we could literally walk to Centro, good restaurants, and shopping.
Sophia and Ivan were amazing! They helped us arrange transport to/from the airport, gave us great recommendations of where to eat, what to see, etc. As we were there for 8 days, they arranged for their housekeeper to come in mid-week to clean and freshen up linens. They were very responsive when we had any questions or problems. The house was gorgeous and very spacious! There were 4 adults on our trip, but it could fit more. We really enjoyed the rooftop patio where we could work during the day. Though we did eat out for most meals, the full kitchen was great for keeping snacks and leftovers. If you are visiting Oaxaca, I highly recommend Aldea Tuya and Sophia and Ivan as hosts!
