"My wife and I brought our 5 year old grandson, and we really enjoyed our stay. The pool is great. It’s not gigantic, but it’s heated and it’s indoor/outdoor. You can swim (or walk, it’s not very deep) to one end, push through a plastic flap door and be outside. During our stay it was a frigid 30 degree Illinois Winter Day. Interesting sensation to be in a heated pool outside. Me and the grandson loved it. The wife stayed inside. Most people poke their heads outside for a minute then come back inside. It’s probably a lot of fun during the summer months as well, since there are tables and chairs outside the pool. The hot tub pool is large for a hot tub pool. It was closed for repairs during our stay. The room was clean. Our fridge stayed very cold. The breakfast was good. Eggs, Potatoes, Biscuits and Gravy, Pancake machine, Muffins, Ceral Check in was easy, free parking Very nice Seafood Restaurant across the street"

"Breakfast consists of Little Debbie donuts, cupcakes, bananas, oranges. Very limited. Self check in. No staff . It is an historic building. We love staying here despite the breakfast shortcomings. Location excellent. Many shops within walking distance , a brewery , coffee shop on main floor of building and bar in French basement."
