The Mansion at Glen Cove

"The historical building, beautiful green surroundings, and perfect location make this a truly special place. Unfortunately, the lack of proper service and management has always been a problem here. I booked a premium room, but upon arrival I was given a regular room. After I complained, they eventually corrected the issue and provided the premium room I had originally booked. The swimming pools were very poorly maintained, as were many of the other amenities. It’s really a shame because this is such a beautiful and historic mansion with so much potential. With better management, attention to detail, and a stronger focus on service, this place could be truly exceptional."

"The property was as described, quiet location even though it was off s busy street. It was close to the areas we needed to be at for a family function. Easy to get to train station for day trip into the city, and wonderful restaurants close by.. go to Umbertos for awesome italian!"

"Almost everything was excellent, fast and helpful communications with host, great location for our purposes, everything clean, kitchen well equipped, air conditioner, washer & dryer, all in good working order, plenty of drawer and closet space. The only thing missing was an extra table or two and/or a larger table to use as a workspace. Also worth noting that the full bathroom attached to the master bedroom is notably smaller than the hallway full bathroom. Otherwise, everything excellent and I would book again if the circumstances arose."

"The property worked well for our purpose—we were in town for a high school reunion. It was clean and comfortable. Parking was not great. We had multiple cars and only 2 spaces available in the driveway. Street parking very limited. Thermostat was a little wonky and it got pretty cold. The location worked well for us, and Juan was a good communicator."

"Nice location and well stocked home. Comfortable kitchen and living room. Not a fan of spiral stairs - very difficult to get suitcases upstairs however I was aware before booking. Price very high for condition of home and 2nd bedroom really tight with no closet or dresser."
