Ocean Front WiFi, Pet Friendly, HDTV, Balcony Overlooking Ocean!

Ocean Front House, Modern floor plan and kitchen with brand new, internet-access Flat Screen TV's in Every Room, Free WiFi. This two-level beach cottage includes high speed internet.

The large deck hosts a gas grill, 3 Adirondack chairs, 2 rocking chairs and a picnic table for morning coffee or afternoon snacks, or sit back, relax and listen to the ocean. The deck is partially covered to provide you with some shade. There is easy, close beach access!. You can see the beach from the deck, and when upstairs in the bedroom balcony - you can see the ocean and beach. Outdoor Shower (hot & cold water) available to wash off sand.

The kitchen is well-equipped with all plates, pots, pans and gadgets so you can can easily whip up a meal from the abundance of fresh, local seafood and produce available on the island. Don't miss the Farmers Market every Monday located a mile from the house.

The master bedroom (located on 2nd floor) has a queen size bed where you will wake up looking out over the ocean! The second upstairs bedroom also has 1 queen bed. Please note the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are rather steep! Downstairs there is a 3rd bedroom with 2 double beds and a 4th bedroom with a queen bed.

Walking distance to City Center with 5 Public Tennis Courts, skate board park, soccer/ball field, new playground, pizza place, ice cream shop, and T-shirt/souvenir beach shop.

A perfect get-away for families and couples any time of year! If you need to de-stress and unwind, then its time for a beach vacation!

This is a Sunday to Sunday weekly rental during the Summer.

Location is perfect!

The location of this beach house is perfect!! We couldn’t have been happier with the location. It’s a private beach, not crowded, and you’re literally steps away from it. The house is beautiful with plenty of room for our family.

Relax with Tropical Debbie

Celebrated my birthday with my BFF in my happy place. Even with Tropical Storm Debbie we had a relaxing enjoyable stay. Great location with perfect views of the ocean. Easy access to the beach made it perfect to enjoy the sunshine the last four days.

Adorable Beach Retreat

Such a wonderful property situated directly on the beach. This home has a great deck with plenty of outdoor furniture. The inside is cozy with a beach theme. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Our host exhibited quick and courteous communication. We would definitely return!

Family Tradition

Our family of eight and fur baby had a wonderful time. Views were beautiful and location very convenient to everything. Outside shower was convenient with warm water. Nice laundry accommodations.

Cute house, great location

This is a cute house for a small group. The location is nice and having the beach out back is perfect. Some features were starting to wear and could use some updating, as happens from over use from strangers, but nothing worth not staying here. We had a group of 6 and that was just right for not feeling overcrowded for us! I would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect! You couldn't have asked for a better place. The house was beautiful, but could use some maintenence. Wonderful time on Oak island

We had a wonderful stay at the house. Check in was easy. Contacting the host was very easy and efficient. All questions were answered very quickly. The house was well stocked with all the necessities. The beach access was right off the back of the house. We hadn’t been to Oak island in about 20 years and we were reminded how much we enjoyed it. A little slice of Heaven on OKI

Top of the list is PET FRIENDLY! 🐾 The nice latching gate off the main deck is PERFECT! Both upper & main decks provide amazing views of ocean, sunrise & set with many comfortable seating options and transition into the open living area/kitchen. We plan to return again & again! Great beach house

Jeri was amazing by working with us when there were scheduling issues. House was perfect and right on the beach. House had everything you needed to cook. Each room had plenty of space and their own TVs if you needed to get away. Minutes from a playground for kids, the farmers markets and event space outside, abc store, local restaurants, and two grocery stores. Will definitely come back here!

House is in need of repairs.

Both sliding doors were horrible to try and open and one handle was broken. Several places in the floor were soft and u could tell the subfloors were rotten. Water leak overhead in the laundry room which appeared to be coming from the bathroom above and looked like had been leaking for a long period . Overall a great location on the beach and nice deck. We still managed to have a good family vacation!

Beach Vibes

Lovely house with great beach vibes. I absolutely loved the color of this property both inside and out. I'd love to know the name of the color so I can paint one of my rooms with it. This house had everything you need to spend a week vacation in comfort. My only advise would be if you are older like me don't sleep on the top floor because those steps are steep. My only complaint is the sliding glass door is hard to open and close and the screen keep coming off track. Other than that I have no complaints. It's a very nice place to spend your vacation. Oh also the walk to the beach isn't far at all. Like down the steps, take a few steps to the left, and over the dunes, and you're there. We even caught a few fish and it wasn't crowded at all.

Great get away

We came to the beach for a Thanksgiving family get away. I specifically wanted a place on the beach with direct access to the beach. This place fit that exactly. It was clean, super cute, and has a great view upstairs and on main floor. Since I planned on cooking Thanksgiving meal there I asked in advance if they had specific pans, bowls etc in the kitchen and Jeri was super fast in responding. Needn't have worried, the kitchen is very well stocked with crock pot, blender, platters, 2 casserole dishes, mixing bowls, hand mixer, and the other basics you'd expect. All the furniture was comfortable and best of all we were able to bring our dog with us. He settled in very well too. Considering pets are allowed could not have asked for a cleaner house. I would definitely rent it again! Thank you Jeri, for sharing it with us.

Wonderful beach week

We enjoyed our stay, and the house was great! The door lock on the first day was our biggest challenge. It didn’t want to unlock, but we figured out what it wanted. It wants to be pulled toward you once the code is entered. After that it was smooth sailing. We had to contact the host but the reply and correction was done quickly. The area, people and places, were great. Two grocery stores within a 5 minute drive and some very good seafood restaurants. The bbq grill was great, we used it twice. I took my crock pot with me, we like make head dinners and weren't sure if there would be one. There was, so no need to bring one from home if you're planning crockpot dinners. The kitchen had everything we needed. The water pressure in the shower was perfect. The balcony was great to sit and watch the sunset. The online listing is correct, the stairs to the second floor are steep but doable. We will be booking this again if its available for our annual beach week next year.

Location, location, location!

If you want to wake up to the most beautiful ocean view and relax with a quiet and close (steps away) beach access - THIS is your place! This was our first visit to Oak Island and we will be back! Finding places ON the beach and affordable that allows dogs is usually very hard. Our dogs LOVE the beach, so going without them isn’t an option for us. My 14 year old gets a spring in her step the moment her paws hit the sand. ♥️ This met every expectation we had for location and we are so glad we stayed. The property was clean and equipped with all linens, kitchen necessities and even chairs for the beach! We sat out on the deck for every meal we had at the beach house and enjoyed the beautiful view. When you don’t want to get dirty or sandy, but still want to feel like you are laying out on the beach, just step outside the sliding glass door and you feel like you’re laying right there on the beach. The outside shower was convenient for washing off and cleaning up the dogs before heading back in for the night. The hosts were very friendly and response times were great through check in. Thank you for letting us enjoy this wonderful island and ocean view!

Great access to beach but home had several issues that needs to be addressed

Location great-private oceanfront access to the beach. However listing is inaccurate. Several issues-should not have been available to rent. It was not recently renovated. Several soft spots in the flooring-not safe. Feels like you will fall thru. AC guys there when we arrived. Even though this was mentioned to us upon booking, it took them until 6:30pm to get done. Seemed they didn’t know what they were doing. Younger guys using foul language. In and out of the home constantly. Had to call what looked like a veteran/season worker to help get the install complete. Told us at arrival it would only be another 2 hours which ended up being over 4. After “completion” guy told us he was setting it on 67. The AC never worked or came on the entire 5 days. House sit at 76 degrees very stuffy/uncomfortable. This work should have been done prior to our arrival and not listed until it was complete. Strong odor in upstairs bedroom where they sprayed something. Upstairs bathroom was extremely dirty and not stocked with tp. Toilet sit broken. The floors throughout was dirty/gritty. Stove/oven dirty. House was not clean. Not enough towels/washcloths. All trash/recycle bins full when we arrived. Left sitting for awhile. We took 3 bins to curb ourselves yet we only had 4-5 bags total. Very dark as carport lights didn’t work. Balcony screen upstairs would not open, stuck. Security fencing broken. Outside shower latch rusted/brkn, would not stay shut. I cleaned everything before departing.

Great Family Vacation Location!!

This is a great house, perfectly located on the beach but also close to grocery store (Publix) and restaurants. The house itself was super clean with all the amenities you need. The kitchen is fully supplied with good pot and pans, knives ect., better than your typical rental. We were a family of three (3.5 year old) and a dog. The deck is gated which was super helpful. Also the outdoor shower is convenient. Highly recommend.
