The location was quiet and the back yard led out to the water. The house had kayaks available and there was a nice market 50 meters away. "Was certainly a place that we would consider staying again and arnaud was excellent, but you must be aware that you are on the exact opposite side of the island of most of the commerce and activity. Not a big big deal as it’s only 25 to 30 minutes, but you will not find a restaurant or anything like that just down the street. there is a small family type store just across the street however for drinks and what not. Also, although the view is excellent the water immediately behind the property is not nearly as breathtaking as the water on the northern side of the island and around to the west side. It’s dark and I can’t tell you exactly why but it’s not really inviting like the water on the other side. It is a more beautiful blue maybe 200 m out and beyond but it’s just different. If you’re not gonna swim, it’s not a big deal. The area behind the rooms is a little Shangri-La as you can lay amongst the palm trees and weed or go to sleep or anything like that and it’s all private so that is a very, very nice feature. The pool was inviting, although I did not use it, and there was a Jacuzzi as well.. arnaud prepared some scrambled egg for us and they were awesome. I would not hesitate to stay there again, although if I wanted to be closer to the commerce and businesses, I would probably stay on the northern side of the island.."
