Thank you for your comments. There is a plan in place beginning in about 6 months to refresh the exterior of the motel, in the meantime our House Keepers do a great job of ensuring our rooms are clean and comfortable. Regards Gf

We are happy Vicki appreciated the clean towels. Vicki was here for 3 days and if any short comings were bought to our attention I am positive our house keepers could have made good.We do accommodate workers who choose to stay here to be nearer their work to reduce green house pollution with unnecessary travel. Some of these people have hot,dry dusty jobs and earn a refreshment by the end of the day and on most occasions are thoughtful and considerate of others. The recycle tubs are mostly well managed and respected. Yes Vicki the property would benefit from a demolition and a rebuild but many of our customers go along with our attempts at regular maintenance to keep the motel clean and comfortable, but maybe not luxurious. We welcome inspections.Come try us again, we tend to grow on people.

Hello Margaret. This is a difficult one as we do not have a King bed in the motel or a renovated bathroom. We do have a toaster and Toiletries in 99.5% of our rooms, but no bar/bistro I can recall. Maybe you spent the night in the wrong Motel? Regards Gf

Apologies Jarrod, sorry we all got our wires crossed. We arrived back at the Motel at 12.30 for a 2 pm Check-in and was informed by our off-duty house keeper you had arrived and spoke with her, and would represent in 30 minutes or so, so we waited and waited. If you are a person of normally happy disposition and care to chance a two night stay at the Barossa Gateway Motel I am sure we will be able to make some restitution. Kind regards Gf

Hello Peter Thanks for your comments. We should of had a greater in depth discussion regarding the whereabouts of eating establishments. There are many eating places within 2 to 5 minutes drive and one the Big Grill within 3 minutes walk in a N-westerly direction, and I regularly inform guests 'they have the best hot chips in the Barossa'. Apologies to Julie, the house keeper in her enthusiasm to present a clean fridge and surrounds dis-lodged the adjustable foot on the fridge returning it to its rightful place and did not become aware of the problem which was quickly rectified. like wise the two chairs have been replaced. The split beds aid in the restoration and sanitation of the sleeping position when nocturnal accidents occur, which I am informed happened on this occasion.We do have a policy of peace and quiet with no noise after 10 pm which we enforce when we are aware of the problem. Julie paid less than 95 per night, not a 'deluxe' price but the best we can do on our budget, however we will continue with our efforts of turning our sow's ear into a silk purse.
