"We were given a second floor room that overlooks Plaza Mayor. It was fantastic. The staff at check-in were helpful, clear, and got us in a bit early. We utilized the hotel parking (they will valet for you and bring your car around per your request—which you can schedule if you’d like). The property is “nostalgic.” If you’re looking for modern “IKEA showroom,” look elsewhere. The room has a classic feel, but is comfortable. We had a double (two twins) and in addition to the table and a chair, the room had a wider lounge chair (Queen Anne style). The bathroom was 100% modern. Rain shower head, commode, bidet, and toiletries all provided. Towels were large and very absorbent. Elevator to the floor was small, as is common in older buildings, but fine for the use. The only time we saw other guests was at check-in and check out. This was my fourth stay in Segovia, and aside from living here, my most comfortable. "No me gusto q soy impedida y me dieron una habitacion que tenia q subir escaleras, el aire acondicionado no enfriaba suficiente! Y me dijeron q era la temperarura q podian usae! Nosorros somos turistas y poruqe nos limitan la temperatura! Casi no pude dormir del calor!"

"This place is beyond excellent. It’s a one of a kind experience staying at a former 400-year convent transformed into a 5-star hotel. It’s really special. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. The property grounds itself is amazing. Definitely deserves its 5-stars status."

"Isabel and Ramón were very accommodating and kind. We had a long delay with our train, and they waited for us late into the evening and didn’t once make us feel guilty or unwelcome. I’m very grateful to them for helping us through an otherwise chaotic moment. This place is situated in Maello. This town is straight out of a storybook or a movie. The town is very quiet and quaint. The casa rural fits right into the charm of the town. It’s very clean, warm and adds a very bright sense of rustic essence to your stay. It feels like home. I truly hope to visit here again. Ramon and Isabel were the perfect hosts. I can’t speak enough of my experience here. "
