"one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in.everything was wonderful. BUT the hotel correctly notified us that we had to check out for real at noon because of an incoming wedding party. Which is fine, But it did not tell us in advance that we would have to off the property at noon. In the past I sould alwasy stay at the health club until my flight. instead I spent 4.5 not very pleasant hours in the main hall of the airport, with my luggage keeping me anchored. The hotel is well within its rights to kick us out at the check out time, but should have warned us."

"Teresa was amazing -we had been delayed so got to villa later then planned but she met us and showed us the way to the villa- lovely location although very rural and definitely do need a car. Would love to go back some time"

"Great budget hotel at a reasonable price in the middle of the town. Friendly reception. Close to airport. Difficult to get the car parked near the hotel. "

"We have nothing but positives to say about the property. If you are looking for somewhere away from it all, yet close enough to the sea and resorts, this is the place for you. You will need a car though.The pool is clean, cool and a welcome relief from the summer heat.We had a couple of issues during our 2 week stay, but Angie was always immediately on hand and got them resovled in no time.Yes there are wasps, mosquitos, ants and all sorts of other insects aplenty, but when visiting rural Portugal, it's to be expected.We would recommend visiting some of the islands of the Ria Formosa. We got the ferry from Olhao to Culatra and to Armona. Absolutely stunning beaches with beatiful white sand, Turquoise crystal clear water and fish everywhere.We also went dolphin spotting with Pudim Real Boat Tours from Faro, and woudl recommed."

"This is our second visit to this villa, Maria who takes care of the property on behalf of the owner is on hand and nothing is too much trouble. It’s in walking distance to Intermarche for groceries, 2 minutes to a restaurant and 10 minutes to a cafe. Patricia is quick to answer any questions, we messaged asking for coasters and an outside ashtray which we found left outside the door within a few hours. The only suggestion I would make is a a basic welcome basket for late night arrivals would be the icing on the cake. The villa is great for our needs and we will be back next year "
