Staff were great and the bar lovely sadly there was jo real heating in our room not so bad but no hot water so guys this was a big disapointment to me no shower or shave next morning ...spoilt what couls hace been a great stay

Friendly locals and staff. Large room fresh neutral colours. Larger rooms are Very good much better appearance. En-suite immaculate. Lovely village surroundings. Very accessible to roads and transport. I felt very safe. Far better than corporate franchises. More friendly and personal touch. Local amenities very close. Intend to return in October 2023.

Property could do with new carpets for starters very worn and just follow the dirt/grease trail to your room. Banisters were not to be touched except in an emergency. Door stiff on the room .. old furniture . . Very small Tv.. room cold as central heating was not on but it had an oil electric radiator which managed just to take the chill off. Bathroom was cold as wind coming in through window which was stuck .. Good thing was a good bed👍 but although pillows looked clean they smelt of old body odour 😞😞.. Tesco is across the road so get some new pillows please .. worth the money no .. should only be £45.00 max . Avoid unless you are desperate.

Made to fill forms in on check in and they wrote down my driving licence number. Apparently Hotels.com don't provide them with enough details all rooms are on the top floor and its the only hotel I ever stayed where you have to check out for 9 o clock

Really in need of a re-furb
Spent the night in a budget room with shared bathroom. Big room but small bed and no chairs. Room dirty and the taps dripping in the sink all night. Staff nice though

I misread the check in time but one of the female staff stayed behind for ten minutes or so which was incredibly kind of her. I gave the money for a cab obviously and appreciated her letting me in. The room was massive, bed comfy enough. I wish I had been there earlier to enjoy the pub.

The basic double room was just that basic but it had a good bed yet with terrible pillows and duvet. The television was ok, yet there was no wifi. The bathroom is disgusting.

Had to pay for parking don't know why hotel's don't just charge the parking in the price of your hotel stay instead of making you pay additionally upon arrival it leaves a bad taste.

Simple and easy
Super simple! Super easy and friendly service. Comfy bed and warm room. One toilet wasn’t working and didn’t use the shower in the end but other than that can’t complain! Would recommend for a short break away.

terrible toilet which was broken, disgustingly dirty bath. Wifi which supposed to be available wasn't available, the pup restaurant was open but did not serve food, i took my refund and went off. Possible bedbugs. go on your own risk
Just have a look at that bath should say enough!
Broken radiator out of view only one window curtains don't black out.

The hotel is perfect if you are looking for some where to stay for a night as it is perfectly cheap enough, however the bathroom is shared and you are above a pub. If you can handle a little bit of loud music in the evening you’ll be fine.

Well i have stayed here a few times and its cheap so quite basic as you would expect, i don't normally stay in places with a shared bathroom, but the location ( at the end of the Tram tracks into Nottingham works well for me, generally its a local but quiet pub, lively enough but not noisy. i will probably be staying again soon.
