"Good hotel if you ignore comfort. Condominium is under construction. Loud banging and drilling starts at 8am and continues all day. Water in shower does not get hot. Sheets are super thin (felt like I was sleeping on the mattress) and too small for the bed. Other than that everything was nice. Very clean and new facility. The pool is awesome. Located halfway between Pelourinho and Farol do Barra (lighthouse). Unfortunately, they're are layers of communication. Front desk wants you to call owner, says they are condominiums, online help is delayed and also will connect you to owner, which comes up as Seazone. Would wait a couple of years for them to work out kinks. "

"The staff was very courteous and always ready to help us with anything we needed. Danilo and Gabriele were very nice and helped us to locate our flight reservation, including sending us the boarding passes in PDF format and hard copy. We were extremely happy for choosing the Bahiacafe Hotel."

"Great hotel. Right at beach front and restaurants and shops and very safe. The room was clean and house keeping was very accessible and helpful. However you should really, really, really invest on purchasing mattress sheets with the elastic bands the grab the mattress. What is up with using regular sheets on the mattress?? Have of the time, after a few tosses and turns during the night, one ends up sleeping on the bare mattress. Thank goodness it was clean. Nevertheless, it was still gross. "
