"Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. "I stayed only one night at the end of my trip to Nosara. An older resort, but clean and comfortable. Just a couple comments: Curtains did not close all the way. Lock was tricky to use. Otherwise a great place to stay."
