"We were diverted into abq for the night and we booked this hotel close to the airport with very short notice and they we so accommodating and helpful, they have a free shuttle from the airport, you just need to call them ahead of time. "
"Really cool affordable hotel. Mad max 60’s vibe but new. Surrounded by cool murals. Lots of art and attention to detail. AC worked amazingly and the beds were beyond my expectations for comfort. The attached restaurant was good and a little pricey. The crispy blocks of hash brown and the cowboy coffee were stand outs for me. The valet service is a much needed $25 upgrade for the area, but the lot was very secure looking and no one stole any of our exposed camping equipment.
Two things that could be improved that everyone complained about were the bathroom doors and the water. We were traveling with family and the bathroom doors are sliding barn doors with a kind of wavy semi transparent glass. Cool to look at, but privacy and comfort trying to change clothes/shower without family seeing us was challenging. Some in our party were frustrated with a lack of a latch to lock the door. I would suggest putting some additional frosted film on the doors in the suites and double rooms as well as a latch on the inside.
We got to the hotel late at night after an 8 hour drive and we were thirsty and tired. There was no convenient store around and the only water available to us was abq tap water, a really slow tap with ‘filtered’ water at the gym fill up station, and $13 fancy glass bottles in the room. It would be nice if you at least made the filter in the gym work a little better instead of taking 5 tries and 4 minutes to fill a standard size bottle with luke warm water."
