Too cold in May for swimming but there is a very nice gradual entry to the lake for those visiting in the summer. The cabin is right on the water with big windows so there is beautiful unobstructed view of Embden from inside as well as the small deck."

"We loved our stay! The house was amazing, bathrooms we beautiful with a huge soaking tub overlooking the mountain. The beds were very comfortable. The house came with everything we needed to have a great trip. And you DO need a 4 wheel vehicle to get up the mountain in the winter. We would absolutely stay again"

"The cabin was centrally located and a great fit for what we needed. We were a group of five and that seemed like a perfect number for the space (although theoretically I think it can sleep ten). If you plan to cook for larger groups you should bring some of your own pots and pans, and paper plates and utensils (the kitchen does have some things, but not enough for cooking for more than 3-4 ppl). Overall a great stay! The fire pit and river views were lovely. "
