View of Moosehead Lake from the peak of Big Moose Mountain in ME. It's a tough 4.5 mile hike up a rocky creek bed with 2,000 feet in elevation gain but the view from the top is great!

Put a few miles on kayaking on Big Indian Pond today. Love exploring the little spots that are too shallow for motorized boats to go.

One of the many hikes in the Moosehead Lake area. It starts out flat and easy as you go around the west of Little Moose Pond but then climbs quickly to give you views of the pond, Big Moose Mountain and Moosehead Lake. 4 mile hike, total ascent 1200 ft.
