"When we first checked in I wanted to shower but the shower was not working. I called down to the desk and they immediately gave us another room. No issues. The girls at the desk were absolutely amazing and friendly. The woman who manages the breakfast is beyond wonderful!! Sunday morning was so busy that the breakfast room was full and people were taking their food to their room. That being said, there was food for them to take!! She was constantly on the move getting food ready and filling the buffet with hot eggs, potatoes, bacon and sausage. And she still kept the tables cleared and wiped off for the next person. This is our ‘go to’ hotel when we are in the area. I give it a 10+%!"

"This place was wonderful! Especially for the price. Rooms were clean and recently updated, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. If we find ourselves traveling through Akron again, I will make it a point to stay here!"

"We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Location is great. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and a mall across the street. We also visited the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which is about a 15 minute drive. If you’re here to see a show at Blossom Music Center, I advise that you leave at least an hour before showtime. The drive was supposed to be 15 minutes, but heavy traffic to the venue made it about a 45 minute drive. Traffic was backed up big time. My only complaint about the hotel is that the pancake-making machine was down during breakfast. Otherwise, I do recommend this hotel."
The Aurora - a Boutique Hotel

"The new Aurora Inn seems strained as it calls itself a “boutique hotel.” Staff is very pleasant, yet still figuring out how to describe the town, replenish weak coffee in the lobby, make change. As overnight guests, without previous reservations in the restaurant, we were seated awkwardly on the patio. Nice clean room, lovely lobby area, historic homes and taverns in town."
