"OK Lodge is just a name; what is is is a (nicely) extended and converted terraced house opposite a park; so now a few studio flats, with some common areas. Modern and clean but a couple of issues - like oven not even wired in; no table to eat off; and also whilst we booked for 3 adults and was confirmed; they called to say max was 2 adults & a child and would not refund the extra £50 for the 3rd adult (who couldn't now come of course) and I had to go through Expedia to get resolved. "Excellent hotel and I will definitely be staying there again. All the staff were helpful. The receptionists were really welcoming and helpful particularly Karen and Claire. We Used room service and had a really polite and helpful young man called Kallum who was patient with me when I got a bit flustered. Also Simone was a happy cheerful face in the morning, she made you feel like you were a regular by greeting you so warmly. The facilities were excellent, everywhere was clean and the room we had was lovely. Nice clean bathroom and really comfortable beds. The hotel definitely deserves the 5 stars and I highly recommend it."
