"We spent an amazing week at the Mad River Ski Chalet. My kids declared this the best Vermont house we've ever stayed in (we go every year, we've stayed at a lot of houses). It's rural enough, while still being close to things you need. Waitsfield is a great town - lots of stores and restaurants. Easy drive to Burlington. But more importantly - the house is just great. Very comfortable, beautifully updated, great deck with incredible views. We definitely plan to stay here again."

"We needed a big home for our group of 9 old friends. This home was perfect for us. The property description and photos were accurate. Big windows looking out at a great view, with a nice deck too. Dining room table plenty big for all of us. Lots of room to spread out on the main floor, like when someone wanted to watch TV they could, not bothering the others. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The WiFi worked very well. The property setting was private. Its location was close enough to the local town that going out to eat, shop etc. was convenient. I needed to contact the host a couple of times with questions, and response was quick.
