"Loved all the staff we met from front desk to cleaning staff. Very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is served on the third floor and you can't take food back to your room but it is a very large dining room that accomodates many. Room was very comfortable. Lots of dead bugs on the balcony but I suppose that's normal. Absolutely loved the view of the beach!"

"This was a lovely hotel for our UP and Mackinac Island adventures! We loved being right on the lakeshore, the breakfast buffet, nightly bonfires with s’mores, and the outdoor pool. "

"We had a great time at Sugar Beach Resort! It's very clean, you constantly see staff picking up garbage, straightening chairs, and cleaning up around the beach. The boxed breakfasts aren't anything exciting but it was convenient and punctual. We enjoyed beautiful sunset views, a comfortable room, and friendly service. We would certainly return!"
