Independent in Northern Iceland

"Hótel is amazing. Loved the design and cosy feel of the hotel. This is by far the best hotel we stayed in all week. We done the ring road so have stayed in a different hotel each night. You can walk to many restaurants as well. Will definitely come back to this hotel. Great breakfast as well. "

"Lovely hotel - really clean rooms, comfy beds and lovely Occitaine toiletries. Had all the amenities we needed. Nice surprise that the Tv was mainly British channels so we watched a little before bed. We had breakfast included in our package - recommend as it was very filling. My teen loved the waffle maker. The location worked brilliantly for us - and was so quiet - using the metal steps up and down to town (from behind the synagogue to Rub 23) but not so good if you had mobility issues. The airport bus dropped and collected right outside. Lovely foyer/lounge and the hot chocolates are highly recommended - made by the lovely Polish guy on reception who was so friendly. If you choose not to have your room cleaned one day - you get credit to spend in the bar etc. "

"Comfortable room, shower water pressure is not very high but at least it's hot. Hotel is very nice and has good breakfast and dinner in the restaurant. Also a good location to see the aurora if the sky is clear, as there's great visibility in all directions!"
