The apartment was really comfortable, very clean and with a lovely outlook over the lake. The sauna was great too.

A personal sauna…OMG! Apartment was lovely and had everything we needed. Bathroom was phenomenal. Check-in was self service, but that was well managed. If you came here in winter you literally walk out the front door to the ski lift.

Our stay here was magical. It was definitely an experience we will remember for a very long time. The staff were very friendly and happily called to order taxis for us. You have to come here prepared. We knew we wouldn’t book dinner here so we made sure we had enough food supplies so we didn’t have to rely off of going into town every meal. The rooms are lovely and cozy. We made it work with two large suitcases and carry on luggage. The heated flooring was amazing.

This place has been around in one form or another for many years, and the experience of the staff shines through. A welcoming afternoon tea and a sumtuous breakfast were just two of the standouts. The beds were excellent and the facilities all in good working order. Would happily stay there again if visiting the region.

The Glass Villas were small but perfectly formed. Private and unique - felt like you were a million miles from anywhere!

Fantastic place to visit with the family during mid winter. Huskies were our favourites. Playing in the woods behind our cabin. The food was great. Zoo was amazing too.

Location next to the river complemented the timber appearance of the hotel. Economical cost of buffet lunch added to enjoyement of stay
