We loved our room with a private sauna. The breakfast buffet was very impressive, we loved all the variety & healthy options. The staff in the dining area were wonderful & most of the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. Great location, easy to walk to shopping & restaurants.

Very nice hotels. BUT tries to monetize on everything that is included free on hotels of this type. For example, you have to pay additional to use the street bikes, to charge EV car, to even get a cappuccino in breakfast buffet...

Beautiful rooms and good food!

Great stay! Beautiful and stylish rooms. Excellent breakfast. We also had dinner at the restaurant - very good food! The sauna and swimming pool was okay. A small sauna and the swimming pool was a good size, but quite cold! You had to keep swimming all the time to keep from freezing. I hope this was temporary! Luckily the sauna was a good 70-80 degrees 😊

Cozy rooms and more than excellent breakfast

Lapland Hotel Oulu has an excellent location on a quiet side street in the city center, only 700 meters from the railway station and the market square and 200 meters from the town hall. Franzen Park and Oulu Cathedral are situated next to the hotel. Rooms are very cozy and stylish. I loved the Lappish style. Air-conditioning is self adjustable. We had a small, silent refrigerator in our room. Many rooms with a balcony have an indoor balcony with view to the restaurant of the hotel. Breakfast in this hotel is more than excellent. They have all the usual foods but also several local specialties including salmon, Finnish squeaky cheese (bread cheese), dried cranberries, cloudberry jam, beetroot hummus, buckwheat cereals, Lappish honey, sour milk cake, cinnamon buns, rhubarb smoothie etc. I especially loved green smoothie made of apples, spinach and spruce roots.
